My New Blog

I love the Tampabay area of Florida for many reasons and here is just a few.  I live in South Pinellas County (South of Ulmerton Road).

The Beaches - Two of our beaches have been recognized in the TOP TEN BEACHES in the United States.

Sunsets - From just about anywhere in Pinellas County you can be at the beach and watch the beautiful sunsets within 20 minutes.

Sports -  If you like major league football, baseball, hockey, arena football it is all within 30 minutes of your home.

Downtown St. Petersburg - 100's of events annually. From First Night, First Friday, Rib Fest, Taste of Pinellas, Saturday Morning Farmer's Market, Shakespear in the Park, and many more. Plus there is always Bay Walk, the Dali Museum, Art Museum, University of South Florida, St. Petersburg Yacht Club, Marina's, The Pier and much more.

Summer is here and everyone seems to be looking for things to do. But with gas prices going up on a regular basis traveling seems too expensive for most.  So here are some inexpensive thing to think about doing with your family.

Did you know that 2 of the  beaches in Pinellas County are ranked in the top 10 in the country?  Why not visit either Fort De Soto Park or Caladesi State Park, both are rated in the top 10 beaches in the country! There is more than just the beaches, check out there websites by clicking on them above.

Florida is a tourist destination.  When was the last time that you toured Florida?  Pinellas County (St. Petersburg, Clearwater, St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island and more cities) and Hillborough Counties (Tampa, Land o' Lakes, Brandon) have many musuems, parks, Colleges, and tourist destinations.  Check out our website for photo's of some of our Florida lifestyle, and attractions.
