Information!

Are you a Home Town Hero? If you are employed as police, fire, emergency medical service personnel, employee of the Pinellas County School System, hospital workers, 911 dispatchers, assisted living facility employee, pharmacy technician, or active duty or reserve military personnel, you are a Home Town Hero and can qualify for upto $25,000 in assistance.

If you are not a Home Town Hero, don't worry you may qualify for one or more of the following programs.

City of St. Petersburg WIN program offers upto $30,000 in assistance.

City of Largo and Clearwater also have assistance programs.

Pinellas County Bond Money offers assistance for down payment and closing costs and a lower interest rate.

State Bond Money offers lower interest rates and assistance money for down payment and closing costs.

There is also additional assistance for homes in target areas.

Depending on the program the maximum purchase price for a home can be as high as $240,158.

Assistance is based on income, program, household size, and location of property.  Some programs can be combined with other programs.  Assistance is given at time of purchase to be used for the purchase as down payment, closing costs and/or prepaids.  Repayment is usually a No Interest, No payment loan until you vacate the property depending on qualifying.
