City of St. Petersburg WIN program offers assistance for down payment and closing costs.

City of Largo and Clearwater also have assistance programs.

Pinellas County Bond Money offers assistance for down payment and closing costs and a lower interest rate.

State Bond Money offers lower interest rates and assistance money for down payment and closing costs.

There is also additional assistance for homes in target areas.

Depending on the program the maximum purchase price for a home can be as high as $240,158.

Assistance is based on income, program, household size, and location of property.  Some programs can be combined with other programs.  Assistance is given at time of purchase to be used for the purchase as down payment, closing costs and/or prepaids.  Repayment is usually a No Interest loan until you vacate the property depending on qualifying. These programs are available to any buyer that qualifies not just First Time Home buyers.
